Ok this is round 2….as I didn’t like my results on damp hair (note: possibly due to me using oil on damp hair prior to leave in and the Creme) I began grabbing medium sections of my dry stretched hair and applying a quarter size amount of the Creme to each section and then twisting. I have been dying to report on the Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. They both really seem to be the same consistency. I have used both and it seems they can be used separately or together as a moisturizing, sealing, leave-in combo type product. They both have a soft hold as well for twists. I think the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel provides more of a shine though and so far that is the only difference that I noticed from the two. At night all I did was retwist like 10-12 big twists without applying any product and went to bed. The next morning I rubbed a dab of my KBB Butter Love between my hands and unraveled the twists, fluffed and was out the door! Check my last post to see my regimen for this style. I untwisted this morning. My hair retained a lot of moisture with the KCKT and MYHC T4C combo. I’ve been tending to my twists nightly by spraying with Oyin Handmade Juices and Berries and using a dab of Qhemet Biologics Olive & Honey Balm to layer over after.
