Review – Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Cowash, Leave In, and Curl Defining Creme

Regimen: *Cleanser – Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Cleansing Cowash *Oil – Sweet Almond Oil *Leave In – Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Leave In Conditioner *Styler – Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea Curl Defining Creme So I got 3 of the Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea line products about a week ago from Sally’s. I’m upset that the Sally’s locations at 15 mile and 13 mile seem to be always out of the Edge Control Glaze as I really wanted to try this too! The price is great as each item retails between $7-9. My hair loves anything with coconut or shea butter … Continue reading Review – Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Cowash, Leave In, and Curl Defining Creme

Day 1 of Twist Out – Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Honey Butta Leave In

Well here are the results of using Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Honey Butta on wet hair. Twists were taken down after 2 days. I grabbed a dab of Karen’s Body Beautiful Butter Love and rubbed it over my hands prior to taking down the twists so as not to disturb them. This CJHBHB leave in appears to provide a defined shiny fluffy twistout when used on wet hair. I have lots of body as well. I have to say I like my results. I did notice when separating some curls that this causes some minimal frizz so beware. My … Continue reading Day 1 of Twist Out – Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Honey Butta Leave In

Day 5 Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

Well today my hair felt a little dry so here is my hair before I restyled it…I do like the Naturalista Juicy Leave In so far. However I do need more than 5 day hair. Like I said when I initially styled it I used KCnt underneath>>the product directions say to use nothing underneath after conditioning. I will keep using the product though so the verdict isn’t out yet! See below>>>shine was still there just not the moisture on day 5. Continue reading Day 5 Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

Day 4 Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

Yes I am on day 4 of my twist out and I should be able to minimally get 7 day hair from the leave in. This product is the business! I will post if I need to re moisturize with water or anything…my hair is soft, shiny and moist from when I rewet with water last week when I had my initial twists and sprayed with water. Maintenance at night is just huge twists about 8 or so with a satin scarf and when I am ready to unravel them I grab a dab of jojoba and rub all over … Continue reading Day 4 Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

So this post is related to my last post regarding the Naturalista Juicy Leave In. I failed to mention that on the day I retwisted that the “water” I used was none other than my My Honey Child O’Honey Curl Mist. I took down my juicy twists which still felt moisturized after a few days. I rubbed a dab of jojoba oil on my hands before the take down. Below is the result. My hair didn’t feel greasy or anything as others have reported. My hair twist out was shiny, moisturized, and bouncy!!! The price for the leave in is … Continue reading Twist Out with Naturalista Juicy Leave In

Review – Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk Twist Out

So about a week and a half ago on wash day>>>I washed my hair with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and then used the lines conditioner. I began to twist about 12 twists on damp hair. I used Kinky Curly Knot Today as my leave in on each section. I didn’t seal with my jojoba or rather forgot too. I then layered with the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I left my big twists in for about a week and just pinned them up>>I then felt like re-moisturizing although I didn’t really need to and began to take down … Continue reading Review – Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk Twist Out

Dry Twist Out with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

So I took down an old twisted up do which was about 2 weeks old and essentially just re-twisted my old hair using the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie per section. Lasted the Michigan weather>>>about 4 days…only because Sunday will be a wash day. This is my favorite product in the Shea Moisture line>>>very moisturizing and is great for the LOC method>>I used jojoba oil FYI as my oil or rather would do this on freshly washed hair. I like the shine and bounce that this product provides as well. Continue reading Dry Twist Out with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

Beija Flor Naturals Cocoa-Mango Buttercream – Twistout Roll Tuck & Pin

So my regimen has went out the window again lol for now. I identified more products that I can’t use temporarily. A lot of my scented products are making me ill too. I used my ssiac to deep condition and threw a cap on for 30 minutes. Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & Aloe Whipped Butter Gel – Product Review

I have been dying to report on the Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. They both really seem to be the same consistency. I have used both and it seems they can be used separately or together as a moisturizing, sealing, leave-in combo type product. They both have a soft hold as well for twists. I think the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel provides more of a shine though and so far that is the only difference that I noticed from the two. Both products go on very smooth and I am able to … Continue reading Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & Aloe Whipped Butter Gel – Product Review
