BEST Cleansing Creams & Cleansing Conditioners for Natural Hair

I want to talk about my favorite cleansers! I mostly use cleansing creams. Below are my favorites! There are benefits to cleansing creams and cleansing conditioners. For the most part they are low suds or no suds shampoos (aka poos). They are also multi-purpose in that they cleanse, condition, and detangle which is awesome in my book especially since my hair is much longer now! I need products that are definitely versatile from my cleansers to my stylers! All of these cleansers are sulfate free (drying detergent agents), phthalate-free and paraben free (cancer causing preservative)! Let’s get to my list! … Continue reading BEST Cleansing Creams & Cleansing Conditioners for Natural Hair

Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & Aloe Whipped Butter Gel – Product Review

I have been dying to report on the Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel. They both really seem to be the same consistency. I have used both and it seems they can be used separately or together as a moisturizing, sealing, leave-in combo type product. They both have a soft hold as well for twists. I think the Aloe Whipped Butter Gel provides more of a shine though and so far that is the only difference that I noticed from the two. Both products go on very smooth and I am able to … Continue reading Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter & Aloe Whipped Butter Gel – Product Review

Another Great Twist Out with Beija Flor Naturals and Karen’ Body Beautiful

I was going to wait until tomorrow but I decided to wash my hair tonight. Routine below. * Prepoo – Sheamoisture curl enhancing smoothie – I saturated my ends with this like an hr before actually cleansing. *cleanser – Jessicurl cleansing Cream – I love this cleanser because I can detangle with it. *protein treatment – Curl Junkie Repair Me! Left on for 10 mins with a cap. *Deep Conditioner – Jessicurl Weekly Deep Treatment. I love this conditioner but the fact that I have to leave it on for a minimum of 30 mins is annoying. Qhemet Biologics – Moringa Tree, Burdock Root, Aethiopika Butter, and Balm Review

Qhemet Biologics – Moringa Tree, Burdock Root, Aethiopika Butter, and Balm Review This is my staple deep condition regimen. I do vary it sometimes but I do this the most. So it was deep condition day and I washed my hair with Jessicurl Cleansing Cream and followed up with the Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioner. After 30 minutes I rinsed the DC out. I shampoo 1-2x a week and deep condition at least weekly. My staple style is two strand twists. I love using my Qhemet Biologics products to twist with. I use QB quite often. I have to order QB … Continue reading Qhemet Biologics – Moringa Tree, Burdock Root, Aethiopika Butter, and Balm Review
