I know it’s been a long time coming but here are just a few of the pics from the 2nd Annual EMBRACE the Natural You – Natural Hair, Health and Beauty Expo. The event was held at McGregor Memorial Conference Center at Wayne State University on June 7th in Midtown in Detroti, MI. The event was sponsored by EverButter, Hair Essentials, and Naturalicious, Mixed Chicks, Bravo Girl Fitness, Original Moxie, Jessicurl, and Curl Kit! DJ XO kept the atmosphere live and jumping and kept drawing everyone into the main room! Some of your favorite local natural hair bloggers such as CharyJay, AccordingtoChloe, Denise Zakiya, Urbanbeautywithin, Leah Vernon and others also stopped by. I went to Kim again at Capello Salon at Oakland Mall…I left the up do in for a week and did a twist out the second week…I attached a photo of my maintenance for the twist out which includes putting my hair in huge twists which takes less than 5 minutes and then putting on a bonnet….
