Hey Curlies,
I’ve sort of been sneaking a styling combo on you for some time now. If you have been keeping up with some of the videos on Youtube then you have seen me use the SheScentIt Brazil Nut Curly Buttercream (moisturizing styler) & Juice Berry Frosting (sealer) a couple of times.
Let me first say I love this brand. They really deliver on styling products and conditioners and sealers. I’ve tried almost everything from this line with the exception of the some of the new items that are on my PJ list (i.e. Coriander Fig Hair Balm, Coconut Quench Daily Moisturizer, Blueberry Co-wash Conditioner, and the Cranberry Hair Cocktail, Apple Nectar Nourishing Conditioner, etc.) I mean just to name a few…yes we keeps a list over here!
I’ve talked about many of my favorites, here on the blog, such as the Avocado Conditioner, Coco Creme Leave In Conditioner, and OMG the multi-purpose Coconut Sorbet (put one in the air for this one!).
I used to get the SheScentIt Brazil Nut Curly Buttercream in a 4 oz but have since been buying the 8 oz since last year. This styler is awesome as a midweek styler or your in-between-wash-day-go-to-styler. It’s a great pick me up for your hair ultimately. If I could compare it to anything then Qhemet Biologics Amla & Olive Heavy Cream or their Burdock Root Buttercream come to mind as far as consistency and delivery on moisture! It delivers in the shine department because of the oils so don’t be too heavy handed so you don’t have greasy weighed down curls.
I’ve listed the ingredients further below. I typically start on dry old hair, I dampen my hair with water, apply the moisturizer to the section, and then the Juicy Berry Frosting to seal. I then let my hair dry overnight. The Juicy Berry Frosting is like a pomade and delivers in the shine department as well.
Below are few styles and tuts I’ve done with the product combo.

The first four pictures are of a flat twist out with bantu knots on the ends on my new short natural hair.
The second set of pics is a picture of a twist out with flexi rods (aka TnC or Twist and Curl) on the ends from last year. I did a mini tut for this one also.
What are your thoughts on this line? or these products?
