Qhemet Biologics – Moringa Tree, Burdock Root, Aethiopika Butter, and Balm Review

Qhemet Biologics – Moringa Tree, Burdock Root, Aethiopika Butter, and Balm Review

This is my staple deep condition regimen. I do vary it sometimes but I do this the most.

So it was deep condition day and I washed my hair with Jessicurl Cleansing Cream and followed up with the Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioner. After 30 minutes I rinsed the DC out. I shampoo 1-2x a week and deep condition at least weekly.

My staple style is two strand twists. I love using my Qhemet Biologics products to twist with. I use QB quite often. I have to order QB from www.sagenaturalceuticals.com or I can get some of the line on the ground at Rose Tulani in Midtown in Detroit, MI. It’s down the street from the Textures salon.

Back to the review. After I rinse the DC out then I squeeze out excess water by scrunching my hair or using a cotton t-shirt to soak up the excess water. I prepare my hair in sections for my final style as I never know if I will twist my hair damp or dry.

I then proceed to use my QB products. I don’t like to mix my stylers so I try to stick with 1 line. I also love the smell of my QB products>>>they are all lightly scented.

Qhemet Biologics Moringa Conditioning Ghee AND Burdock Root Butter Cream – I love love love this conditioner. It works best for me as a leave in. I’ve tried it as a DC but prefer it as a leave-in and detangler. The product is a creamy white and milky and I use it liberally. The product melts completely in my hair and my hair is left soft and supple. I usually apply the leave in and layer with the BRBC on each section until I have like 12 twists all over. This process can also be done on dry clean hair.

Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate and Twist Butter After my hair is about 80-90% dry then I am ready to twist and I use a dab of this butter, grab a small section (goal is medium sized twists) from the big twists and I use it from root to end. I do medium twists all over this way and if my hair needs more moisture during the process then I will use my MyHoneyChild O’Honey Curl Mist to spray the section. Now I have used this butter when wet>>>I still get great results. I proceed to do this all over until I have medium twists all over. I also use this butter after I get out the shower for my face and skin>>>it’s very nourishing.

Qhemet Biologics Olive & Honey Hydrating Balm – I use this at any point either right after I rinse my conditioner out after drying with a cotton t-shirt or after I have completely twisted my hair. I grab a dab with one finger and emulsify the product in my hands and scrunch over my twists which are usually dry by the time I’m done twisting. This stuff is sticky at first but not after emulsifying.

End Results>>>My twists are defined and moisturized for like days straight>>>moisture isn’t an issue until like the 5th or 6th day. I have had amazing twist outs from my two strand twists using this combination. You could even skip the butter cream and the balm and just use the ghee and the twist butter and get amazing results. The butter cream makes a great pre-poo too.

  1. Thanks for this review! This is exactly what I was looking for. I tried to hold off on that twist butter but your twist out looks fantastic!
